Description

Michelin Pilot Super Sport Mi – maximum dry grip with motorsport-derived constructionThe Michelin Pilot Super Sport Mi in 225/35 R19 Z is a ultra-high-performance tyre built for maximum dry grip with motorsport-derived construction. In South Africa it is a popular choice for premium-brand drivers looking for a dependable tyre at this size. Looking for this size? The Michelin Pilot Super Sport Mi is available as 225/35R19 – the same fitment you may see written as 225/35R19, 225 35 19. Every tyre is supplied new and can be fitted at one of our partner fitment centres or delivered nationwide. Key features & benefitsLe Mans-derived engineering – Developed from Michelin motorsport experience, with technology proven at endurance racing level. Bi-compound tread – Different compounds on the inner and outer tread give grip through corners and durability on the straights. High-speed stability – Stiff, reinforced casing maintains shape under extreme cornering and braking loads. Precise feedback – Variable Contact Patch keeps the footprint consistent as load shifts through a corner. Wide fitment range – Available in the larger 18- to 21-inch sizes demanded by performance SUVs and sports saloons. Run-flat construction – Reinforced sidewall lets you keep driving up to 80 km at 80 km/h after a puncture, so a flat does not leave you stranded. Load index & speed rating explainedThe speed rating Z approves this tyre for sustained speeds up to 240 km/h. ZR denotes a tyre rated above 240 km/h (the exact limit is confirmed by the load/speed marking on the sidewall). Marked run-flat, it can be driven on after a puncture for up to 80 km at 80 km/h.
