Description

Goodyear Effigrip Perf – low rolling resistance with wet safetyThe Goodyear Effigrip Perf in 195/40 R17 81V is a fuel-efficient tyre built for low rolling resistance with wet safety. In South Africa it is a popular choice for premium-brand drivers looking for a dependable tyre at this size. Looking for this size? The Goodyear Effigrip Perf is available as 195/40R17 – the same fitment you may see written as 195/40R17, 195 40 17. Every tyre is supplied new and can be fitted at one of our partner fitment centres or delivered nationwide. Key features & benefitsFuel saving – Low rolling resistance compound for lower fuel bills. Wet braking – Contact patch grows under braking to shorten wet stops. Long wear – Compound resists fast wear for higher mileage. Quiet running – Pattern tuned for low noise. Extra Load (XL) sidewall – Reinforced construction carries higher loads, suiting heavier vehicles, towing and full loads. Load index & speed rating explainedThe load index 81 means each tyre can carry up to 462 kg, so a set of four supports roughly 1,848 kg. The speed rating V approves this tyre for sustained speeds up to 240 km/h. Marked XL (Extra Load), this size carries a reinforced sidewall for heavier vehicles and full loads.
